Before applying Cadseal, the deceased must be fully embalmed for Repat to ensure preservation during transport. All cavities should be treated, and the body thoroughly dried.
Once the deceased is fully dried, Cadseal foil is carefully placed beneath the body, A second layer is then laid over the top, fully enclosing the deceased. This creates a sealed, protective barrier for safe transport. The process is secure, respectful, and meets international repatriation standards.
The sealing process involves heat-welding the top and bottom layers of Cadseal foil together, creating an airtight and leakproof enclosure. A specialist tool is used to fuse the edges securely around the body. This ensures safe, hygienic containment during transit. The sealed unit is then approved for international transportation.
Just before the final seal, the remaining air is carefully vacuumed out from the Cadseal enclosure. This reduces internal pressure and prevents movement during transit. It also enhances the airtight seal, ensuring maximum hygiene and safety. Once the air is removed, the final heat seal is applied to complete the process.
The top layer of the Cadseal foil will display all essential identification details of the deceased. This includes full name, date of birth, date of death, and any required repatriation references. These details are clearly marked for easy verification during transport. It ensures traceability and compliance with international regulations.
